34th Annual 5K Fuzz Run and Fun Run

“Voted Best 5K in Georgia-Run and See Georgia Magazine. Come run where the stars walk in historic Covington, Georgia at the 34th Annual Fuzz Run 5K ,Mary Beth’s Redbird Run, and the 1 Mile Fun Run. The start/finish is located on Conyers Street, at the Conyers Street Gymnasium. The course takes you through beautiful historic Covington, past homes and sets used in a number of Hollywood productions. Known as Hollywood of the South™, Covington has become a mecca for the television and film industry. Easily transformed into a Civil War village, a 1950s town or a modern day city, Covington’s scenic locations, moderate temperatures, airport accessibility and community support have become a real draw for filmmakers. Currently known as Mystic Falls, VA, for The Vampire Diaries, Covington and Newton County has also been home to The Dukes of Hazzard, In the Heat of the Night and over 60 film productions.
